As some of you may know, I've been out of the U.S.A. for a few weeks now. It was a fun trip, but it is good to be back too. Lots of things happened while I was gone, republican scandals notwithstanding. BUt a few things have changed here in Chicago, too.
1. The "Got Pizza?" mini- chain must have been forced to change their name. I must admit, I saw that one coming. Duh! But the name has been changed to "Pizza- Ria." Wow, the creativity abounds at this place! I dunno, a brown sign with the word "Ria" on it isn't really making me hungry right now.
2. 94.7 The Zone- I turn on the radio expecting to be down with the sickness or be unforgiven, and what do I hear? "Strawberry Fields Forever?" It seems the Zone decided that crappy nu-metal mixed with Pink Floyd wasn't paying the bills.
3. They closed the McDonalds by my house. In all my life I can't remember a McDonalds actually closing.
Anyway, this place has been closed up for a whole month now, and it is time to get this shit going again. Norm has promised to get some of the new songs up now that his computer is fixed, and we're finally moving forward on the new CD after all of this time. Also, I will re-ignite my feud with I Love Rich. Why? I'm bored. Let the games begin.
